Zochrot's second international Return Conference.
The conference is held in three languages, Hebrew, Arabic and English and simultaneously translated into all languages.
We will discuss issues like transitional justice, planning aspects of return, state models, cultural and social challenges, and more.
The entrance is free, but seats are limited and they are running out! We recommend to register in advance.

The conference, organized by Zochrot association, will discuss the practical aspects of the Return of Palestinian refugees grounded in the transitional justice principles of acknowledgement, accountability and a process of redress.
Location: The conference will take place in the area of the village al-Shaykh Muwannis, which was located there till the Nakba.
Address: Eretz Israel Museum, Tel Aviv - Rothschild Auditorium, 2 Haim Levanon street, Tel Aviv.

جدول الفعاليات
المؤتمر، الذي تنظمه جمعية "زوخروت" (ذاكرات)، سيتناول موضوع العودة الفعلية للاجئين الفلسطينيين انطلاقًا من الاعتراف وتحمل المسؤولية، والمباشرة بعملية تصحيح تاريخية، تستند على مبادئ العدالة الانتقالية .
تتمحور القضايا لتي سيتم طرحها في المؤتمر حول إسقاطات العودة على الحيز، جغرافياً وسياسياً وثقافياً واقتصادياً، وعلى طابع المجتمع الذي سيتبلور بعدها، ومكانة اليهود والفلسطينيين في البلاد، ونظام الحكم، وعلى إمكانية إعادة الأملاك بعد 65 سنة من اللجوء وتدمير الحياة الفلسطينية من جهة، وإقامة دولة يهودية وإنشاء واقع جديد من جهة أخرى.
مكان المؤتمر: الشيخ مونّس ، قرية فلسطينية كانت عامرة حتى النكبة.
العنوان: متحف أرض إسرائيل, قاعة روطشيلد, شارع حاييم لبانون 2, تل- أبيب.

כנס בינלאומי - International Conference - מאֱמת לתיקון: שיבת הפליטים הפלסטינים – مؤتمر: من الحقيقة إلى التصحيح: عودة اللاجئين الفلسطينيين
29-30.09.2013 תל אביב / Tel Aviv/ تل- أبيب
הכנס מתקיים בשטח הכפר הפלסטיני אלשיח' מֻוָנִּס שעמד באזור עד הנכבה. לימים הוקמו על שטחו שכונות יהודיות כמו רמת אביב ושיכון ל', כמו כן הוקמו על שטחו מוזיאון ארץ ישראל, מוזיאון הפלמ"ח, סמינר הקיבוצים אוניברסיטת תל אביב ועוד.
בתמונה: "הבית הירוק" שהיה עד 48' בית המגורים המפואר של איברהים אבו כחיל, והיום משמש כמועדון הסגל של אוניברסיטת תל אביב וכאולם אירועים. מהמבנים הבודדים ששרדו מהכפר.
The conference will take place in the area of the village Shaykh Muwannis, which was located there till the Nakba. Afterwards some Jewish neighborhoods were established upon its land, like Ramat Aviv and Shikkun Lamed, and venues like Eretz Israel Museum, The Palmach Museum, Seminar Hakkibutzim College, Tel Aviv University and more.
In the picture: "The Green House", which until 48 was the resident of Ibrahim Abu-K'hil, and today functions as a social club of TAU academic staff and a banquet hall. It is one of a fewest buildings from the Palestinian village that survived till today.
يعقد المؤتمر على أرض الشيخ مونّس، القرية الفلسطينية التي ازدهرت هناك حتى بداية النكبة. أقيم على أرضها أحياء سكنية يهودية مثل رمات أبيب وشيكون ل، وكذلك بني على أنقاضها متحف أرض إسرائيل، متحف البلماح، كلية سمينار هكيبوتسيم، جامعة تل أبيب وغيرها. في الصورة: "البيت الأخضر" هو منزل فاخر تابع للسيد إبراهيم أبو كحيل، ويستعمل اليوم كنادٍ لطاقم محاضري جامعة تل- أبيب وكمطعم. هو أحد مباني القرية القليلة التي نجت من الهدم.
